Healing Is Possible
Trauma affects far more than memories—it can influence the way you see yourself, relate to others, and experience safety in the world. My approach to trauma therapy is both compassionate and evidence-based, recognizing that healing requires more than simply reducing symptoms.
Treatment is individualized and may incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Jungian Depth Psychology. Together, these approaches help process traumatic experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and foster lasting resilience.
By combining practical therapeutic tools with deeper exploration of identity and meaning, our work is focused not only on healing past wounds but also on helping you reconnect with your authentic self and move forward with greater confidence, balance, and hope.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions About Trauma Therapy
How do I know if I have PTSD or trauma?
Not everyone who experiences trauma develops PTSD. During our first sessions, we'll explore your experiences, symptoms, and goals to determine the most appropriate treatment approach.

I work with childhood trauma, complex trauma, abuse, relationship trauma, grief, medical trauma, military trauma, accidents, and other overwhelming life experiences.
Is trauma therapy emotionally difficult?
Healing can bring up difficult emotions, but therapy always moves at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal is to help you process experiences without becoming overwhelmed.
How long will trauma therapy take?
Every healing journey is different. Some people benefit from shorter treatment, while others choose longer-term therapy to address deeper emotional patterns.
Do you offer virtual trauma therapy?
Yes. Secure telehealth appointments are available for clients in PsyPACT participating states.
What therapy approaches do you use to treat trauma?
Every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your experiences and goals, therapy may include EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Jungian Depth Psychology. Together, these approaches help address both the emotional impact of trauma and the deeper patterns that may continue to affect your life.
